  27.   X10DC is distributed as a ZIP'ed archive containing the
  28.   following files:
  29.   - SETUPDOS.EXE    Installation Program
  30.   - X10DCDOS.EXE    Self-Extracting Archive
  31.   - FILE_ID.DIZ     Documentation
  32.   - READ.ME         Documentation
  33.  
  34. To install X10DC run the SETUPDOS.EXE Program which will perform
  35. following steps:
  36.  
  37. 1) Optionally displays this READ.ME file if it is found on the
  38.    installation source drive;
  39.  
  40. 2) Prompts you for the location of the X10DC sub-directory and
  41.    extracts the program files to the selected sub-directory.  (See
  42.    the PACKING.LST file for a list of installed files);
  43.  
  44. 3) Optionally sets the CommPort that X10DC will use to communicate
  45.    with the CP290 (new installations only; based on the absence of
  46.    and X10DC.INI file);
  47.  
  48. 4) Optionally displays the PACKING.LST file;
  49.  
  50. 5) Optionally displays the READ.ME file if a READ.ME file was not
  51.    found in the installation source drive.

  53. D. Quick Upgrade Feature
  54. ------------------------
  55. X10DC (Version 1.60 and above) and X10EC (Version 1.10 and above)
  56. include a "Quick Upgrade" feature.  To use this feature you need
  57. special Registration Key files that are supplied to you when you
  58. register the software.  When new shareware versions of these
  59. programs become available, you will immediately be able to take
  60. advantage of the registered program features.
